A scarce original MKII Cover for the short lived mineral jelly tin introduced as part of the trials for a new service rifle. Although sometimes described as being part of the 1903 Bandolier equipment this was in fact an associated rather than authorised component. Tin is NOT included merely to illustrate that this cover will accept it. Grubby with some rust bleed and remains of makers details.
