Identity Disc to 9227 Private W Topp 1/6th Gordon Highlanders

Identity disc with (kit bag) keys attached to Private William Topp who served with 1/6th Battalion (Banff and Donside) The Gordon Highlanders (TF) in France and Flanders from 10th November 1914. He was discharged from the Army on 10th August 1916. During his service the battalion fought at Neuve Chapelle, Aubers Ridge, Festubert, Givenchy and Loos. He earned the 1914 Star, British War and Victory Medals and Silver War badge.
